La galerie Perrotin Paris recherche à temps complet un dessinateur 3d et plans.
Vous fournirez une assistance technique pour la réalisation de la scénographie des expositions sous la direction de l'équipe artistique de la galerie, vous travaillerez directement avec la régie pour concevoir des simulations et plans des espaces avant chantiers, et aiderez à la réalisation et à la mise à jour de plans des espaces en préparation d’une exposition.


Missions :
- Modélisation 3d des espaces d’exposition et des oeuvres
- Assistance technique à la scénographie des expositions
- Détourage et retouche d'images dans l’idée d’intégrer des éléments de réalité augmentée
- Participation au développement des archives numériques de la galerie et du site internet


Compétences :
- Parfaite connaissances de la suite Adobe, et plus particulièrement de Photoshop (détourage/ retouche)
- Parfaite maitrise du logiciel Sketchup et notions des différents logiciels de dessins et plans 2d et 3d ( Rhino, Autocad… )
- Anglais obligatoire
- Exigence, précision, rapidité d'exécution
- Excellente organisation
- Des bases en programmation serait un vrai plus


Profil :
- Sortie d’école d’architecture, BTS design d’espace ou formation équivalente, impliquant un fort intérêt pour la modélisation 3D et l’informatique en général, et une excellente vision dans l’espace

Communications Officer

Perrotin New York is currently seeking a full-time Communications Officer. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of press/PR experience, preferably within arts communication, with a thorough working knowledge of key press and outlets. The Communication Officer will be based in New York, referring to the Directors of the New York gallery and the Director of Communication based in Paris, in liaison with the gallery's teams in New York, Paris and Asia.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create and execute media plans for gallery exhibitions and special projects
- Organize press previews/walk-throughs for in-house exhibitions and other select events (ie, getting press to attend and/or cover public talks)
- Connect with press teams at selected institutions on artists’ solo shows, and with freelance PR who may be hired by the gallery on specific projects.
- Oversee external press image requests and reporting
- Compose and distribute press recaps and occasional news alerts internally to staff, write texts when necessarily
- Maintain the gallery and artists press archives
- Scan, format, file, and distribute press clips, including print, audio, etc.
- Set up and comb through artist and gallery google alerts
- Liaise with the whole gallery team to share information about exhibitions and artists news
- Update and organize the index of contacts / database, shared with the whole gallery team


QUALIFICATIONS

- Relational, editorial and synthesis skills
- Very good written and oral expression
- Knowledge of contemporary art, its network and press media
- Fully operational English, written and spoken. A second language would be appreciated.
- Versatility, dynamism and pugnacity
- Team spirit, sense of organization
- Mastering the Apple universe, Adobe suite, Office and major social networks

Bookstore Manager

Perrotin New York is looking for an experienced bookstore manager to curate it’s future bookstore, manage day to day tasks and stocks as well as welcome and attend to visitors daily.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Day to day customer service, cash and credit-card payment handling
- Organize and manage inventory, receiving, inventorying stocks
- Curate the selection of books, artist editions, prints etc.
- Propose / organize events (collaborate with editors, organize pop-up events, book signings, etc.)
- Propose new ideas, develop the activity in creative ways
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for gallery directors


QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate should be well organized, self-motivated and proactive with a strong knowledge and interest in books, editions and publications. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in retail bookstore operations and inventory management. They should be effective planners and problem solvers, neat and well-organized, friendly and approachable. Candidate should also possess strong multi-tasking skills, excellent oral communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

Full-Time Art Handler

Perrotin New York is currently seeking a full-time art handler.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Wrapping, packing and preparing artwork for shipment and transportation
- Daily building maintenance tasks
- Preparing for and participating in the installation and de-installation of exhibitions at the gallery
- Delivering and installing works of art in exhibition space, showroom and off-gallery premises
- Preparing artworks for client viewings
- Maintaining storage of materials and equipment used in connection with Art Handler tasks
- Maintaining accurate records of artworks inventory and label/photograph works for inventory
- Inventory trips to off-site storage location


QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least three years of prior art handling experience required
- US passport or work VISA
- Previous experience in a gallery is required and candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Most importantly we are looking for someone who has the ability to utilize time wisely and efficiently complete assignments while maintaining quality of work and paying attention to detail.

Assistant Registrar

Perrotin New York is seeking a full-time Assistant Registrar for its New York location. The Assistant Registrar will report to and support the Senior Registrar.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transport
- Arrange transportation of artworks for our exhibition program in New York and update our inventory systems accordingly
- Arrange international and domestic transport of sold artwork
- Coordinate local transportation of artwork between external storage and gallery
- Co-ordinate inter-gallery shipments with our Paris/Hong Kong/Seoul/Tokyo galleries

Storage
- Ensure that all artwork is labeled appropriately, and that the inventory system is updated accurately
- Keep track of miscellaneous (non-artwork items) in storage. Maintain database of such items

Admin
- Update costs for NY exhibitions and the art fairs the gallery participates in
- Condition report artworks that come in and out of both the gallery and external storage
- Maintain a database of customs paperwork, and closely monitor expiring customs paperwork to ensure that the appropriate action is taken


QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven organizational skills with an ability to prioritize, multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong diplomatic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively
- Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of gallery inventory systems
- Excellent knowledge of US taxation, insurance, local and international customs procedures
- 1-2 years minimum experience with a reputable commercial gallery and/or institution
