The re-opening of the Hartung-Bergman Foundation After two years of construction and refurbishment, the Hartung-Bergman Foundation in Antibes (France), which has only opened its doors to the public on an exceptional basis for the past 28 years, is entering a completely new phase of its existence. On May 7, the foundation, which preserves the legacy, work, studios and home of Hans Hartung and Anna-Eva Bergman, is going re-open with new exhibition spaces and with a new exhibition: 'The archives of the creation'. With an exceptional collection of paintings, drawings, notebooks and countless documents, the Foundation's exhibition traces the interweaving of the creative process and the daily life of this most striking and original pair of painters of the modern period, almost day by day.
