Nick GOSS

Nick Goss’ work captures moments of fleeting reality, where subjects seem to escape their own temporality. His paintings blend memory, nostalgia, and a subtle sense of mystery, creating scenes that are both familiar and otherworldly. He is particularly drawn to transit zones and spaces where fleeting human traces tell stories.
Starting from collages of archival images and silkscreen prints, Goss builds layered canvases where fragments evolve into landscapes. His scenes / imageries  are  influenced by directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, and Wim Wenders, compressing time and framing scenes with a narrative tension.
