Perrotin New York presents John Henderson’s fifth solo show with the gallery, which follows the artists’ recent solo show at Proyectos Monclova, Mexico. Henderson’s work reconfigures preceding art historical movements—post-war abstraction, minimalism and conceptual practices. The artist’s oeuvre has long revolved around problems of authorship, reproducibility, and material translation. He presents a new series of works on the occasion of his solo show at the gallery.
