Originally produced in 2002, Looking Back turns its gaze back on the viewer, throwing into question the traditional roles of object and beholder. Under an enormous, unblinking eye, unwitting museum-goers suddenly become studied objects of interest. Looking Back will be on view at Centre Pompidou-Metz through Fall 2023.
