This works is part of the artist’s emblematic series of “rip-off” paintings, which are composed of collages of audio or VHS tapes, in which Hildebrandt creates complementary positive and negative versions of the same motif. 

The film La grande vadrouille (The Great Stroll, 1966) by Gérard Oury is recorded on the VHS tapes of the work.
