"Time Shedder" features a central vortex that evokes a sensation of spinning or tumbling, a centrifugal force revolving around a luminous core. While abstract in composition, the interplay of warm and cool colors may suggest a landscape in flux, illuminated by the intense light of sunrise or sunset. The thin, fluid application of paint conveys an airy, elevated atmosphere—something ungrounded and suspended. The viewer may experience a dual perspective: looking through the translucent surface toward the central light, while also sensing an outward gaze into a deeper spatial field.

Engaging with the tradition of Western linear perspective and its fixed vanishing point, the artist considers how this visual framework has shifted in an era shaped by multiple, often disembodied vantage points. Our contemporary sense of vision is increasingly constructed by technological systems, such as satellites, drones, and digital platforms, that both support and monitor daily life. This shift has profoundly altered our relationship to the ground and the horizon, once foundational elements of perception, now redefined by the omnipresent aerial gaze and the immersive logic of gaming culture.

The painting can be read as a response to the accelerating conditions of the present, in which accumulation and velocity are constants. It reflects on the tumbling force of shedding—how, over time, certain events or emotions may erupt suddenly, whether through natural phenomena, personal emotions, or societal rupture, while others erode over time. Some things fall away; others remain as scars or residual traces.
