«In 2005, I created Lithophanie n° 10 (Lingotto), which is an architectural detail of the Fiat factory built in 1927 in Torino, Italy. (...). This unique, multi regatta winner, looked like a sculpture I wished I could have made. From Lingotto to Stealth, I started to imagine, Furtivo, a movie inspired by the history of mass production and its evolution to sport and leisure. The film will be a dreamlike story of a man (played by Sébastien Tellier, well known French musician) giving form to his vision. First embodying his premonitions through drawings, he then builds models and 3D images that lead to the construction of actual objects. The film documents his journey from the ground (the Lingotto building) to the sea by car, by horseback, and eventually by boat (Stealth). As the film progresses these models become the actual physical objects they represent, and in turn become part of the set through which the man moves.» Xavier Veilhan
