Registrar

Galerie Perrotin New York seeks an organized and detail-oriented registrar.

Primary responsibilities will focus on the following areas: 

- International transportation management
- Post-sale client services
- Preparation for gallery exhibitions and art fairs
- Working knowledge of international fine art shipping, US customs, and familiarity with European customs procedures. 
- Maintain inventory: conduct condition reports, overseeing local movements of works both in the gallery and off-site, updating gallery database 
- Work alongside Paris and Hong Kong locations to handle international shipments 
- Managing relationships with shipping and art handling vendors 
- Follow up with suppliers, customs, storage 
- Maintain the gallery schedule for exhibition installation/deinstallation and client viewings 
- Managing a calendar for the department for installation/deinstallation, viewings, meetings. 
- Managing gallery and freelance art handlers 

Requirements: 
- Bachelor's required 
- 2 years experience in a gallery setting, auction house or art shipping 
- Good organization skills and ability to multitask 
- Working knowledge of Filemaker and the Mac suite 
- Proficiency in French is ideal but not required

Personal / Executive Assistant to the Director

Galerie Perrotin New York seeks an incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable assistant for the gallery's Senior Director.

Responsibilities include the following :

Administrative Support:
-manage the director’s personal and professional calendar
-maintain a detailed schedule of current and future events
-manage director's domestic and international travel arrangements for art fairs, out-of-town exhibitions, etc
-liaise with staff on director’s behalf to help plan, organize and execute exhibitions
-prepare outgoing correspondence including drafting emails & sales proposals
-assist with general management of the gallery and special projects

Sales Support:
-serve as liaison with director's clients and gallery staff regarding sales
-assist with incoming requests, conduct research and assemble sales proposals
-post-sale client management and coordination with registrars

Qualifications;
- 2-3 years experience working as a personal or executive assistant required
- Mac literate and Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Photoshop or InDesign is a plus
- Proficiency in French is a plus

The position is Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm, with occasional evening or weekend commitments. Salary commensurate with experience.

Régisseur technique (Manutentionnaire / Installateur) - Freelance

La Galerie Perrotin recherche régulièrement des Régisseurs indépedants (type auto-entrepreneur ou contrat courte durée) pour compléter ponctuellement l'équipe régie.

Vous participez aux différentes missions de régie de la galerie :

- Gestion matérielle des œuvres d’art (manutentions, préparation pour les transports, livraison et installation, présentation, emballage, rangement de stock, etc. )

- Montage / accrochage des shows - room, expositions et stands de foire, ...

- Peinture, enduit et rebouchage des murs

Profil :
- Bonnes notions de Bricolage et de manutentions d'objets fragiles
- Très bonne condition physique
- Expérience en accrochage
- Dynamisme, polyvalence et bon relationnel pour travailler en équipe
- Discrétion
- Bonne gestion du stress et réactivité

Rémunération : selon profil
Facturation ou contrat courte durée
