Depuis plusieurs années, John Henderson élargit et approfondit son engagement dans une peinture abstraite et les conditions de sa pratique contemporaine. Faisant appel à une grande diversité de technologies et de techniques — moulage, coulage, impression numérique, vidéo et photographie —, Henderson réforme, révise et reproduit l’expression picturale manuelle, évoquant le minimalisme et l’expressionnisme abstrait tout en prenant délibérément de la distance par rapport à leur pratique directe.
