Thilo Heinzmann’s fourth exhibition with the gallery is dedicated to the Pigment Paintings, a typology in his body of work which he invented 25 years ago. Characteristically, these paintings are made with pure, unbound pigment. They celebrate the beauty and brilliance of colour, while an open directness in their composition is enabled due to speed.
