In the continuation of sculptures of monumental gorillas staged with hominoid details such as their hands full of rings, the ape gives place to its skeleton. Bound to a chair and represented in christic position, Bharti Kher reveals us a clue by leaving him a shell in the hand, as a symbol of life and death in Asia.

Dans le prolongement des sculptures de gorilles monumentaux, mis en scène avec des détails anthropomorphes comme ces mains simiesque ornées de bagues, le gorille laisse ici place à son squelette. Ligoté sur une chaise et en position christique, Bharti Kher lui glisse comme une énigme un coquillage dans la main, symbole funéraire en Asie.
